When Alex's parents fought during their divorce, he blamed himself. He felt like a ping pong ball, bouncing from his mom's home to his dad's and back again. He struggled to concentrate on his classroom assignments and eventually gave up on school altogether.

But since he's been at Mercy Home, Alex has been working hard with our academic team and tutors to help him reach his full potential. He's improved his grades and realizes he actually enjoys school again. His parents participate in therapy sessions and are fully dedicated to supporting Alex and helping him heal.
